At the heart of Blake P. King’s personal belief system is the notion that the importance of giving back to the Atlanta community which has provided him with so much can’t be overstated. Looking back at his career, Blake P. King, started out in earnest in 2009, following his graduation from the University of Georgia. At the time, the job market was awful, in the wake of the worst economic downturn since the Great Depression. A long job search led to an opportunity in the financial services industry, where his passion for helping people really showed.
That initial position involved assisting individuals with reducing the size of payments on money they owed, which he found himself very capable at doing. Blake P. King feels there is much to be grateful for, so he operates from the concept that he has a responsibility to do more than sell people things. While that is what he does in his career, he credits the grace of God and the kindness shown him by many people for everything he has. That is why he supports charities throughout the Atlanta community and beyond, especially the Friends of English Avenue, Habitat for Humanity, Buckhead Church, and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Atlanta, among others.
